Puente del Inca
Introduction
There is a natural bridge over the Mendoza-River called " Puente del Inca" (Inca Bridge), located at 2700 m altitude on the east side of the Andean mountains in Argentina beside the street from Mendoza over the Andes to Chile. Also there are a lot of springs which support warm water. A long time ago there was a hotel with a house to take bathes in the water of the springs. The hotel has been destroyed by an avalanche many years ago. The house of bathing dilapidated. But the springs are still active and water is running all over this place. It's visited by a lot of tourists every day, people say it's a mystic place and you don't feel good while resting there. But I couldn't feel anything bad or strange, I enjoyed this place. I stayed ten days near this place in barracks of the argentinean army to do some measurements of stratospheric trace constituents with a ground based millimeter-wave radiometer.
